In the world,the declining birthrate and aging and declining population are major issues. Japan is no exception. First, I would like to write about Japan’s declining birthrate and aging population.

In Japan,more and more towns and villages, like the village shown in the video, have only elderly people. Those towns and villages are more common in rural areas than in urban areas. Such villages often have no villagers after 10 years. Many villages have already lost people. As a result of this aging population, more and more villages will disappear throughout Japan as young people leave their rural hometowns, where the population is small, for the cities.
