This is a scene from Puella Magi Madoka Magica episode 7.
Sayaka,” who is fighting against the enemy, is a magical girl. She is fighting in a way that hurts her body and soul, out of desperation due to her own body no longer being human and her lost love. The main character of the film, Madoka, who is not a magical girl at this point, is watching over the fight. Another magical girl, Kyoko, intervenes in the battle and helps Sayaka.
At 0:10, 0:17, and 0:31, her face is shown in close-up and we can see her expression. But we don’t see Sayaka’s expression until 1:36, when she shuts off her sense of pain and fights without regard for her body. Her eyes are not drawn in this scene. Her mouth is drawn eerily large. The blood that is drawn for the first time in this scene appears to be tears. These effects, combined with the excellent acting of the voice actors, convey her madness to the viewers.
