Hi! My first time doing the movie review! Here it goes.

This movie was a recommend of my mother. It’s one of the most famous social films sometimes described as comedy-drama(even though there’s more than just a drama) made in 1975, and still being seen quite often. It has won many prizes and has been choosen for the greatest films ever made, AFI’s 100 Years…100 Movies, which includes best American movies ever made, and a whole lot of other famous rankings.

It is a story about a man who pretends to be mentally disordered in order to avoid getting sent to jail. His name is McMurphy and he was sent to psychopathic ward instead. There he opposes to the rules of the hospital and the chief nurse. At first, the patients around him were just obeying whatever the chief said, but eventually they are effected to McMurphy and start to think and act for themselves. Of course McMurphy is planning to escape finally but something happens! And I’m not going to tell you! Because it’s the most exciting part!

I was really shocked when I first saw the movie. It contains many real social problems like how mental disorders are treated,lobotomy surgery, human rights and more. It made me learn new knowledge and gave me the opportunity to know more about them.

I am sure the wierd feeling emerges inside of you after you watch this, like when you meet a problem that can never be solved. And you will be surprised how fast 2 hours pass!
