  1. The film is a comedy released in France in 2011. It is a comedy, but it is not only funny, it is also thought-provoking and will renew your sense of values.

There are two main characters in the film. The first man, Philip, has a cervical cord injury and cannot move his body from the neck down. The other man, Doris, is black and free-spirited. The story begins with Doris coming in for an interview to find a servant to take care of and look after Philippe, a wealthy man living in Paris.

The other servants and his secretary were very opposed to hiring Doris, but only Philippe offered to hire him for a month on a trial basis, and they began living together.

Because of his disability, Philip was given special treatment by the people around him, but he did not like it. However, Doris was the only one who does not give him special treatment even when he was working as a servant and tried to leave what she could do to him. He also let him try things that she herself thought were impossible.

On the other hand, Doris was also once restricted because of her blackness, but Philip treated him without prejudice.

Through this film, I learned that there are friendships that are created through contact regardless of race, disability, or age.
