This movie is famous as one of Kurosawa’s works in the world. The story is that a son of the driver who works for the main charactor get kidnapped. And then, the suspect request the main charactor who are called Gondo to pay 30,000,000 yen for the live. Gondo have saved that money to buy the company’s stock because he become the new boss. After all, he makes a painful decision for the son. This is the all most story of this movie. The suspect is a med student. His reason of this case is that he is jealous on Gondo’s life. Gondo have taken actions for the social success, after the WW2. On the other hand, the student do not know the Gondo’s way to success, and he is not able to restrain his frustration against his status. The young do not know the WW2, thus the young like him has been suffering the poor life since they were born. In other words, they are given the bad effects of war. I’d like to tell you that people should pay attentions to children before the mind of them is broken. For example, Sakakibara’s case have astonished the whole Japanese people.
