I love the animation called “Haikyu”. It is a story about volleyball game and a friend of mine recommended this for me. They are many fans around the world, and so, you may probably know how the story goes. However, I would like to explain the reasons why they are many fans in Japan and in the world.

First of all, they are two main characters that are enthusiastic about playing volleyball and since I am in a team of lacrosse, I know how that feels. Therefore, there are something that people can empathy towards this animation. The feeling of hard time and the importance of cooperating with others are some examples.

Secondly, people who don’t really know about volleyball could even enjoy this animation. It explains the rules, and therefore, viewers are able to understand the whole story. If people could not understand what is going on, then it would not be that famous around the world. In addition, the way the animator portraits the characters are the highlight of this animation. Movements and expressions are drawn detailed which make the viewers more into it.

For these reasons, I think “Haikyu”, an animation of volleyball, is popular among many people. Hope you would watch it too.
