In Summer, sunlight burns down our head, we sometimes apply sunblock, put on a hat to avoid heatstroke and discomfort from the heat.

One of countermeasure is using a parasol. However, parasol is usually used by only women. In fact, I never have never seen a man who uses a parasol.

I suppose the reason why men don’t use parasols is that the image of parasol, (I wrote above), parasols are for women. If a man uses a parasol, he might be made of fun, “He is sissy!”.

However, a few days ago, a male user of twitter leaved a message: “Many men should use parasols! If more men do, I will not feel ashamed.”

This message (tweet) was spread for about thousands of Japanese people, because it shows that a few of men use parasols usually.

When I see this message, I strongly agreed.

I also use a parasol frequently instead of sunscreen and sunglasses, but I sometimes feel ashamed, because people who are using parasols tend to attract attention.

(Maybe since I’m tall I sometimes catch attention.)

Therefore, not only women, but also men use parasols, using will be easier for every people.

I strongly hope that this tweet will be more spread.
