I belong to inline hockey club at Aoyama Gakuin University. Do you know inline hockey? Probably not. I also didn’t. So I never thought I would play inline hockey. An encounter between inline hockey and me was unexpected. The reason why I would like to belong to the club is because I liked the atmosphere of the club and I wanted to play a sport which I had never played.

I’ll explain about inline hockey simply. It is like ice hockey, but we play it wearing roller skates not ice skates. So skating rink is also different from ice skating rink. We play inline hockey wearing protective gear same as ice hockey, but the protective gear of inline hockey is simplier than ice hockey. And the rule of inline hockey is also simplier than ice hockey. The both of them is same sports in terms of sports that player score a goal using a puck and a stick.

Although a only year passed since I belonged to my club, I had got many things: my teammates, a fun of inline hockey, and so on. I love my friends in the same year and my senior, but there are troubles among them. I like playing inline hockey but I have experienced bad things through it. I recently became a goalkeeper. I think I try to boost the morale of my team.
