Since I entered Aoyama Gakuin University, I have had a lot of discussions or interactions. For example in IE class, we have discussion every week, talk about social issues or questions in our life. Not only in English class but in other classes, we have to exchange our opinion with others who aren’t acquaintance.

These discussion and talks are very good opportunity to know others’ point of view. However it is hard for me to discuss with each other even if they are my classmates. Especially when I have to stand in front of the audience and express own opinion, I can’t summarize some sentences instantly, and then I say “Well…” or “Uh…”

I think that teachers in high school should provide interaction classes more. In my high school, for instance, every class except PE was conducted along examination test in universities, so students just listened and took notes of class. I think this style prevent us from thinking. We only accepted the contents of class as a fact, so I think teachers have to add some new classes to have questions or to make own opinion and think about it.
