Hi I am Mary.

I would like to introduce a romantic drama film called ” The Vow ” which is inspired by the true story.

The movie is directed by Michael Sucsy . The main cast of the movie is Rachel Mcadams as “Paige” and Channing Tatum as ” Leo ” (Paige husband)

Five years ago, Paige left her wealthy family and started to live in a new town “Chicago”.

Leo and Paige are a couple who just got married. After a car accident, Paige is left unconscious, and when she awakes she doesn’t remember Leo.She has partial recollection of her life until five years ago.Her estranged parents Rita and Bill Thornton use the unusual situation to bring Paige back home. Leo decides to woo her again to have his wife back, but her ex-fiancé Jeremy is courting Paige and she does not know why she had broken with him.

However Leo didnt give up on Paige.Leo is a paragon of patience. He tried to recover Paige memory by taking Paige to their favorite date spots, reminding her she’s a vegetarian, showing her the studio she has forgotten. But all of this is alien to the old Paige;  she’s still attracted to Jeremy. All Leo get back in returns was pains.

Finally Leo decided to accept Paige divorce paper.Leo said ” Sometimes when you give up on someone it’s not because you dont care anymore. It’s becuase you realize that they dont”. Paige returns back to Law school and started to live her old normal life. One day at a store, she meets with her former high school friend called ” Diane “. She apologize Paige for having realtionship with Paiges’ father. Paige now realizes why she had left her family.Paige concludes that she must stay away from her parents in order to recover her true identity.

Paige moves back to Chicago and slowly by slowly regains her memory. One day back in her room, Paige finds the menu card on which she had written her vow for leo  says “I vow to help you love life, to always hold you with tenderness and to have the patience that love demands, to speak when words are needed and to share the silence when they are not, to agree to disagree on red velvet cake, and to live within the warmth of your heart and always call it home. ” and is deeply moved. The movie ends with Paige waiting for Leo at a closed Cafe Mnemonic and going with him to try a new place instead of their regular alternative, a Cuban place.

This film is based on the real-life story of Kim and Krickitt Carpenter; she never did regain her lost memories, but they’re together today, with two children.
