Bohemian rhapsody is a biographical drama film about Freddie Mercury, the singer of the popular rock band : Queen. It follows his life from Queen’s formation in the 1970s to their iconic performance at Live Aid in 1985. The movie highlights the band’s journey to global fame. It also explores the challenges he faced, both personally and professionally, including his battle with AIDS.

What struck me the most was the incredible power of the music. I became completely captivated by Queen’s innovative sound. The final live performance scene made me feel like I was actually there. Through his music, Freddie expressed his feelings and connected with the audiences. I realised that music not only moves people but also is a way of sharing emotions that we cannot express by words.

Contrary to the glamorous image of Queen that I knew, I was able to learn about Freddie’s past struggles. Despite facing various difficulties, I was encouraged by his constant challenge with his friends. I learned that while friendships and family relationships don’t always go smoothly, if you don’t forget trust and love, they will always be there to help you.

This movie is very impressive for me, as a band girl. I also want to be someone who can share joy with others.
