Immigration means the thing that people emigrate to a different state and a different cultural area. It has happened frequently in Japan.

According to the Asahi newspaper, limited villages where more than 65-year-old senior citizen exceeded resident’s 50% have been increasing on a mountain area and a solitary island. There are many unpopulated area in Japan. As a number of young people emigrate to large cities to pursue convenient lives and good eduvations, more and more depopulation advances. The people who left in a depopulated area are suffering from a lot of problems, especially there are two main social questions. First, because of the small number of young people, some students have no classmates. It is true that they can get more attention from teachers, however they feel lonely at the school. In addition, there is not a person who take care of the aged. Second, it is difficult for workmans to find an everyday work, because there is no demand such as building house.

To solve these problems, the government should take steps to cope with the situation. In my opinion, the government need to provide adequate public survices such as medical assistance for the aged at the underpopulated area.
